Hello Amanda from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Your channel is the BEST! It's the only one I can follow without throwing in the crochet hook and not using unlady like language. I am making this complete set, (dress, booties, blanket, hat) for a client who is due in a few weeks. I'm sure she will love it as much as I loved making these beautiful items. I think on the bear snout under Alternative Round 1, You need to ch 2 after the sl st to form the ring. This is missing in the written instructions.

Amanda, Beautiful work. Would tell us at which specific row you determined the correct chest measurement of this baby dress? With 5 sts per inch (per your pattern gauge direction), that would be 75 stitches around. Also, while our gauge might be matching your measurement in length, different tensions can affect the actual width, of course. This dress is very full (even the bodice), so it's not clear where we should be checking the chest dimension. Thank you. 😊

@MaisieandRuth Hi, why is that my pattern always turns out to be larger than intended? I make sure to count my stitches after each round and they always match up. I also use the age appropriate size hook and yarn.

There must be a mistake in the stitch count 1st row 14 and the 2nd row is not so . something is wrong
